Sex Education

For adults • Andrea Barrica, O.school’s founder, was raised in a Filipino-American religious conservative family that only taught abstinence. Determined that no one else should have to struggle to unlearn sexual shame, she started O.school in 2017 to help people learn about their bodies, unlearn shame, and build more sexual confidence.

For adults • This site is supported by a team of Columbia University health promotion specialists, health care providers, and other health professionals, along with a staff of information and research specialists and writers. They have advanced degrees in public health, health education, medicine, counseling, and a number of other relevant fields.

For parents and teens • Guerrilla Sex Ed is a website for people seeking alternative sources of sex ed because traditional, school-based sex ed failed them. This site also provides info for people wanting to advocate for better sex education within their school districts, but don’t know where to start.

For ages ~9 to 12 • Every Body Curious is an entertaining and educational YouTube series about sexuality and healthy relationships for ages 9-12. Each episode features two expert hosts leading a respectful and authentic dialogue on sexual health.

For ages ~10 and up • Amaze takes the awkward out of growing up. Fun, animated videos help empower healthy relationships, with all the answers your kids will want to know about their bodies.

For ages ~4 and up • Little kids have big questions. amaze jr. brings parents age-appropriate sex ed resources about talking to young children, and fun videos to share with your children.
