What is this?

Haystacks & Hope is our new mutual aid project to exchange resources and services among current / former Adventists and our friends.

This could include crowdfunding, legal support, career coaching, a couch to sleep on, etc.

What is Mutual Aid?

Mutual Aid is a voluntary, reciprocal exchange of resources and services for mutual benefit. It's solidarity, not charity.

It's neighbors helping neighbors, however we can, even if we're many miles (or kilometers) apart.

Help the Dunk Family Avoid Homelessness

The Dunk family, a loving family of five living in St. Lucia, is at risk for homelessness due to unfair labor practices and a tight job market.

They need help with funds for rent, groceries, medical expenses, and a plan to emigrate so they can have a more stable career path and better opportunities for the kids.

There are mutual aid groups across the United States and other parts of the world. Mutual Aid Hub provides a map to different mutual aid groups and food resources.

If you're outside of the U.S. or don't see a group in your area, search online for a mutual aid group or consider starting one with people you know. The more groups, the better!
